Nexus Mod Manager Auto Load Order
On the first page of the Import Tool, Vortex will attempt to auto-detect the mod manager you’re importing from. If it can’t find it, or you have more than one version of the mod manager installed, you can change is the mod manager install path. Step 2 will show a list of currently installed mods in NMM.

UPDATE: Oblivion launches the esp's in Date-Modified ascending-order - and BOSS (etc.) modifies this metadata in order to manipulate load order.I do not need help using BOSS or OBMM - or anything like that (been using, and sometimes creating, mod for years).However, one thing I never bothered to figure out, was just WHERE the load order for stored? The other is not in the ini files, nor is it in the plugins file (that just contains the list, not the proper order).So how does ESIV know what order to load plugins? Obviously after BOSS runs, something must be updated - afterall, OBMM (or NMM, etc.) will see the proper order when you run them after BOSS.So where is this order saved, or does this work some other way? The read-out you get after running BOSS (though you should really switch to LOOT. The people who made BOOS have abandoned that software and made LOOT to replace it) is the list of your load order. I have more experience using Nexus Mod Manager, it preserves your load order when you open it.
I use NMM to correct any load order errors that LOOT made (no software is perfect lol). I have no experience with OBMM. Nexus Mod Manager is also not recommended for installing mods at all. The best method of installing mods is via Wrye Bash + Oblivion Mod Manager.I hope this helps anyways.I know about the load order info stored there - but, as far as I know, that file is for BOSS - that is, do not know that it exists.I can completey remove BOSS or any Mod Manager, and will load items in the correct order (assuming BOSS or something like it was run at least once before they were removed). Oblivion launches the esp's in Date-Modified ascending-order - and BOSS (etc.) modifies this metadata in order to manipulate load order.I only just checked because I previously saw online that 'data accessed' (or something like that) was what Fallout used (I original ignored this information when I found it - different game - seemed wrong regardless).So I checked all of the date fields (other than Date Modified) in both orders, and none of those fit. I thought 'well, I will check Date Modified even though I swear I checked that one before' - and tada - if you sort like this, the esp's line up perfectly (each esp has an increased minute compared to the last one in the order), with no other file-type coming inbetween any of them.I now must ask/say-to: Bethesda - WTF??? LOOT is meant for more recent games such as skyrim, or fo3 or fnv etc. BOSS is intended for oblivion. DO use boss to sort your load order etc.
DO use loot to find incompatibilities and tell you about new updates.
