Tank Takedown Raid Strategy Guide, Walkthrough and Guild Attack Plan Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Brought to you by LordSkunk.com and TeamSkunk.comThe SWGOH Tank Takedown Raid was released on Friday October 21 st, 2016. This is the 2 nd raid released by EA/CG for SWGOH. This raid has a much higher initial difficulty than the previous raid, The Pit. Tank Takedown, both normal and Heroic modes, will require guilds to coordinate and strategize even more to attain successful completion as well as your raid rewards, gear and most importantly your shards!TeamSkunk is providing this guide to the sw:goh community as a guidebook for successful completion. Again, I want to stress, this is a very difficult raid in its current form and it will only be completed by guilds who take the required time and coordination.

Do not be discouraged if, initially, you and your guild aren’t roflstomping this one like you did the Rancor. Please be aware the below damage numbers and other content of this guide are estimates, guesstimations and theorycrafting. This guide WILL change as the TeamSkunk community completes additional raids, so I would recommend checking back often for updates. Diablo 2 runeword weapons. If you see an Officer announce to hold or retreat, pull out and wait to go in one at a time until Phase 1 is completed. This will be around 10-15 percent remaining health of the Boss. If you see the health of the Boss below 10 percent and no Officer has said anything, pause and let them know the Boss is below 10 percent health.

Await further instructions. Estimated Phase Damage Required 4,300,000.

Player Attack Strategy:Phase one is pretty simplistic, use Jedi’s, kill the B2 Super Battle Droid, cleanse & repeat. You want to start by hitting B2, get him low, but don’t kill him, General Grievous will revive him his first move if you kill him before Grievous’ first turn. You want to have yoda use tenacity up before Grievous goes his first turn. A good start is using QGJ assist and either having Ayala stun B2, or Yoda going and getting foresight. Reset, if possible, until you get the encounter to start like that. Stun the adds as often as possible. The goal is a minimum of 86k, but you should shoot for 200k here.

If you do not get the desired results, and have time, simply retreat and try again for better RNG. Phase 2: GUILD ATTACK PLAN:Send in 1 team only, keep an eye on the health of the Boss and Discord chat. If you see an Officer announce to hold or retreat, pull out and wait to go in one at a time until Phase 2 is completed.

This will be around 10-15 percent remaining health of the Boss. If you see the health of the Boss below 10 percent and no Officer has said anything, pause and let them know the Boss is below 10 percent health. Await further instructions. Estimated Phase Damage Required 19,000,000.

Guild members should send in their A, B and C Teams using the guide below as suggested Team comps.

Once done watch for Discord chat to see if a 4th and 5th team will be needed. If you see an Officer announce to hold or retreat, pull out and wait to go in one at a time until Phase 3 is completed. This will be around 10 percent remaining health of the Boss. If you see the health of the Boss below 10 percent and no Officer has said anything, pause and let them know the Boss is below 10 percent health. Await further instructions. Estimated Phase Damage Required 12,000,000. Each raid participant will attack with three teams with a Goal Damage of 240,000 (3 teams @ 80,000 per team)Suggested TeamsTeam by Chief Chirpa Lead, Royal Guard, Stormrooper Han, Emperor Palpatine, Sun FacAlternatives (possibly less effective)Datcha lead, Jawa, Ugnaught, Stormtrooper Han Solo and Captain Phasma.

Phase 3 is the most horrible phase of all! You want 3 tanks, ideally Stormtrooper Han, Royal Guard, Sun Fac, but Sun Fac can be replaced by any other tank or elder if you have to. The best strategy is to get Stormtrooper Han as fast as possible, ideally 232 speed, to go before the droids so he can taunt first and take all the hits speeding up Emperor Palpatine to attack faster. When Chirpa comes around you want to use his assist hoping he calls Emperor Palpatine.

Captain

A lot of people will restart until they get that. You don’t want to taunt or buff yet with your tanks/buffers so you just basic attack a droid that isn’t the B2 boss.

Emperor will continue to basic shock each droid getting faster and faster. If you get resisted on any shocks in the first 4 attacks, it’s recommended you retreat and start again. On the 5th and 6th shock EP will basically freeze everyone’s Turn Meter.

You then basic down the boss over and over again. If Stormtrooper Han is still alive, and he should be, he will still be giving Turn Meter. It is this time that you taunt and buff with your other tanks before they become completely frozen. If any other character, besides Emperor Palpatine, goes they need to buff or basic the boss. You don’t want to kill any driod adds or you ruin it.

You then go as far as possible with EP until he is dead. Ideal mods are crit avoidance/protection and defense on the tanks. You want high crit/damage on Emperor Palpatine and defensive mods as well to keep him surviving as long as possible. If you do not get the desired results, and have time, simply retreat and try again for better RNG. You will want to send a decent team in first (Example: Rey, Jedi’s, GS) and kill the two B2 Super Battle Droids and top cannon. After that, die and send in Droids or Wiggs and focus on the Tank only, DON’T TOPPLE! Once that team dies, send in your next best team and rinse and repeat.

As long as you don’t topple you can keep hitting without worrying about those pesky B2 Super Battle Droids. If you do happen to topple the Tank from AOE damage, make sure all your characters are buffed.

An airstrike will damage your whole team for massive damage if you aren’t buffed once it gets back up from topple. Also the B2 droids will ress. If you do not get the desired results, and have time, simply retreat and try again for better RNG.Enjoy our Live Shows and other content? Consider supporting us for only $1 a month on Patreon!
